Gas Price Concerns Rise as Pennsylvania Considers a Regional Climate Pact for Cars

Pennsylvania lawmakers on Wednesday raised concerns that a possible multi-state initiative to reduce emissions of climate warming gases from cars and trucks will drive up fuel prices in the commonwealth. The program, known as the Transportation and Climate Initiative, would cap the amount of carbon dioxide that can be released by vehicles in 11 Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic states and Washington, D.C.
